New Pickleball Courts back on track…

After 84 days of nothing being done by the Town, I sent an email about the situation to the Town Administrator, Town Planner, Board of Selectmen, and the Community Preservation Committee.

Th next day I received a very nice positive and helpful phone call from the Town Planner who assured me a meeting would take place this coming week between myself, an engineer and various project stakeholders in an effort to get the project started.

Stay tunes for more updates…

New Pickleball courts project stalled…

Although May 2019 Town Meeting approved the CPA funding for the engineering work for 6 new pickleball courts, now 85 days later, there still has been no engineering work performed. With no communication coming from the town, yesterday I sent an email to the CPA committee, the BOS and the TA asking for a meeting to find out what’s going on. Very frustrating, inactivity is jeopardizing a full year delay, stay tuned…

Thank you for the nice review…

Judy B:

Feedback: The Podcasting 101 tutorial was immensely helpful!  I signed up to learn about podcasting to help launch a new business. Not only did I learn the basics, but Burt Lewis customized the sessions and introduced me to the tools I needed prior to setting up a podcast. Burt is a hugely generous person who is passionate and dedicated to sharing his expertise to help others succeed and reach their true potential.  He is one of the most knowledgeable, smartest people I have ever met. More importantly, he has a wonderful, motivating teaching style that doesn’t intimidate. I’m not sure how Burt did it, but after meeting with him for three sessions, I was able to update my social media tools, start a website, and test out and add an ntroductory podcast onto the website.  Best of all, I am now truly excited about playing around with these tools. I would encourage anyone who wants to improve their podcasting and other social media computer skills to sign up for Burt’s classes. He’s the best!

Can we use your comments in our reports and studies? YES!

Easton Town Meeting approves new pickleball courts engineering

Last night, Easton Town Meeting attendees voted to approve CPA spending of $38,000 for engineering work for 6 new dedicated pickleball courts. Next steps are to acquire construction bids and obtain final approval. If all goes right, construction can begin June 2020.
